Terms of Service
Last updated: July 7, 2026
These terms govern your use of Billis. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy.
1. What Billis is (and isn't)
Billis is a document formatting and management tool for creating quotations, invoices, billing statements, payment requests, and receipts. It is not a BIR-accredited POS, CAS, or electronic invoicing system. Any tax fields (TIN, VAT, withholding, invoice series) are provided by you. You are solely responsible for your own BIR registration, approved receipts/invoices, and tax compliance.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a contract.
3. Plans & billing
- Free — ₱0, up to 5 documents per month, with a Billis watermark.
- Starter — ₱99/month.
- Pro — ₱299/month.
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through PayMongo and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices are in Philippine Pesos and may change with notice; changes apply to future billing periods.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Billis to create false, fraudulent, or unlawful documents.
- Misrepresent Billis documents as BIR-accredited official receipts or invoices.
- Attempt to breach security, disrupt the service, or access other users' data.
- Resell or misuse the service in violation of these terms or applicable law.
5. Your content
You own the business and client data and documents you create. You grant us the limited rights needed to store and process that content to operate the service. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of what you enter.
6. Intellectual property
Billis, its name, logo, design, and software are owned by us. These terms do not grant you rights to our branding except to use the service as intended.
7. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that documents produced meet any specific legal, tax, or regulatory requirement. You are responsible for verifying compliance for your use.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Billis is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using Billis and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the law. On termination, your right to use the service ends; see the Privacy Policy for data deletion.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
11. Changes & contact
We may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept them. Questions? Email support@billis.online.
